Catholic World Mission and Maternal Life International Merger
Dear Friends,
We are thrilled to share exciting news about the future of our organization. As of November 1, 2025, Maternal Life International will officially merge with Catholic World Mission, a nonprofit whose mission and values align seamlessly with our own. Together, we will expand our reach, enhance our programs, and steward your generosity with even greater impact.
Your steadfast support for Maternal Life International will continue to transform countless lives, empowering families to rise from poverty while fostering joy in their roles as parents, spouses, and exemplary community members.
Through our Faithful House program, children have benefited from having two caring parents at home, guiding them with moral fortitude in a society that can sometimes feel adrift. This program will keep fostering a revival of family unity, responsible parenting, and God-centered communities.
Similarly, our Safe Passages program has empowered and will keep empowering thousands of midwives, nurses, and physicians to expertly manage obstetrical emergencies, transforming the journey from conception to birth into a safer, more joyful experience for mothers. Where fear and uncertainty once loomed, there is now celebration and hope.
Your dedication to those in greatest need has made all of this possible. Rest assured, none of this vital work is going away. Both Dr. George and Jeff will remain at the helm, driving these programs forward alongside our new friends and colleagues at Catholic World Mission. We invite you to join us in continuing this critical work. As we say, “Twende Pamoja”— “we go together.” Let us stay united on this journey to create a better world through safe births and secure families.
What This Means for You
Your gifts remain fully tax-deductible and will continue to support the programs you care about deeply. Catholic World Mission is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization with federal tax ID (EIN) 83-4136780.
Checks during the transition period: Until October 27, 2025, donations made out to Maternal Life International will still be accepted. Uninterrupted support: Every dollar you have given and will give will continue to fund the programs pioneered by Maternal Life International.
